A whimsical composition combining multiple photos.
The goal of this project was to practice image editing in Photoshop to create a fantasy composition for the final project for the course. I gathered a photo taken of me performing a role in a dance production for the project and a photo of an open book that I took myself with a DSLR camera. I also gathered free-source images to use for the remainder of the piece. To make the piece appear cohesive, I adjusted and editing the lighting and colors in the composition.

Dancin' Dance Studio
Logo & Branding Redesign
As the start of my work for Dancin' Dance Studio, which has included a website redesign and highlight reel, I created a new logo for the ballroom's brand. She had intially worked with one of her students to capture the silhouetted image of her and another instructor. This image was then passed to me, and after uploadeding it into Adobe Illustrator, I traced the shapes and refined them into a vectorized image. I then worked closely with the client to decide on an original font style for the logo and position the two D's from this font around the dancers for a finished motif.
Subsequently, I (and the studio staff) have used this new logo for various designs for the studio. This has included social media ads for dance parties and events, along with printed media for the studio's dance showcases. In all cases, I tried to maintain consistent branding, carrying over visual elements from the website like sleek lines and swirls, and finding commerical-free fonts with similar or appropriate aesthetics.

"Scenes of Nature"
Photography Triptych Design
Triptych of nature scenes in Florida, which I captured using a DSLR camera. I edited each of the photos and arranged them in Lightroom to make a consistent and artistic presentation.

"Tango Tanya"
Digital Character Sketch
Tango Tanya is a fierce ballroom-dancing feline, ready to take the stage. I fully drew the character in Photoshop, gathering inspiration from my hobby of ballroom dancing and reference photos while making her design.
